NE North Dakota | I am well aware the North Dakota does not matter to U.S. Ag when it comes to the big two (Corn/Beans) but their is a lot of talk about specialty crops this year. Yellow Peas, Sunflowers, Edible Beans...Current Cash Corn $2.88, Beans $7.73, Wheat $4.26. Yes, we are only 38 cents away from $2.50 cash corn. Basis is widening end of last week and today, some elevators offering free storage on corn, beans, wheat. Weather has been very benign all winter. We will have far less frost than past few years. The weather outlook has us much much above normal temps daytime highs in 50-60's. | |
