Subject: RE: Haylage and corn silage prices

western iowa,by Denison
I would be a happy camper Puff selling my corn for over $3.50-We can buy number 2 yellow corn today for $3.40
There was no drying charge-and with next fall's corn price in the crapper probably replace it down the road for less

original poster is hauling away from neighbors pile-no delivery charge to seller

seller and buyer must come to mutual fair price-probably both reading ag talk for opinion's

last year I came to mutual agreement with neighbor-he got earlage from me for free-in turn he hauled silage and earlage for me in return-said it was the most expensive feed he ever got for free
told him he was the most expensive free help I ever had
we were both happy and have the same arrangement this year

what would you price corn silage at Puff?-show the numbers of how you get there to assume your price
