Northeastern Pa. | I thought I over thought all this stuff until I got on this site several years ago. I have tried about every scenario there is except anhydrous which really isn't available in my area. I had years that disproved results that were the best for 3 years etc.. I talked to a National corn grower winner a few years ago and asked him how he put is nitrogen on. He said he put it all on at one time pre-plant. So who knows. I do know one thing no matter how you do it don't skimp on it. I had a year when I let my fertilizer dealer do a pre-side dress test and said no need to side dress. Was not a good decision ! You guys are great and I learn a lot on here. | |
