Carbondale, KS | Had a variety that did that every year due to a ridiculously long ear shank. Tried for years to replace it but none of them could match the consistency across soil types. Bottom line it was more fun to watch the monitor than it was to grip about running the header in the dirt all day.
Given equal yield potential I'd choose the taller variety but yield is first. | |
