Market doesn't owe anyone a profit right? All we have heard for 2 years and been fed to take a bite of the s--- sandwich. Not my problem. Hedge your costs. Ethanol is a big issue if they don't have their costs covered at these price levels. You don't think farmers wont sell if we got $5+ and sell ahead for multiple years? Good friend in Oklahoma says the only guys still pumping are hedged out. Why don't cattle producers? Guess they got grass fever last spring with calves and didn't cover their costs now fats are in the sh----. So I guess grain guys should keep selling corn under COP so they can keep feeding cattle like the 90's again.
