| Cuba is interesting and opening up. Pope Francis met his Orthodox counterpart Patriarch Kirill there on February the 14th.
First meeting between a Pope and the leader of the Eastern Orthodox church since the church split over one thousand years ago.
Cuba fascinates me, I have been there twice, nice people, beautiful climate, some nice land, abundant resources, very safe place to be low crime,
well educated population, most things well organized universal health care but no toilet paper in the washroom and everything is in short supply or falling apart and in disrepair.
Hopefully the changes that are underway will come with some guidance and bring prosperity and the benefits of our western life style to the Cubans
I don't think another revolution would be in their interest.
For trade, they could after they fix their infrastructure produce / supply the entire USA with sugar.
For the moment they are short of almost everything so with credit or aid instant demand.
