Talked to a friend of mine a week ago... he produces organic milk..... When I asked him what he was getting per cwt, he kinda sheepishly said, oh, you don't want to know, because I know it's quite a bit more than you.  

He ended up telling me $38/cwt!!!!!   I told him I wanted to cry.  Yup, it's a damn shame.  I get it, but I don't.  I can't be mad at my friend for choosing his path, but I am dismayed at the average consumer for choosing to support that kind of pricing, with, for all practical purposes, zero knowledge.  

Being frustrated solves nothing, except supporting current beer demand!!
