South central kansas

This is what I read.

 Grains Update: Darrell Holaday

Grains Update:  January 25, 2016

It has been a two sided trade to open the week.  At we move into the noon hour,
prices are slightly higher.

Wheat was the early leader on rumors that Russia was considering putting an
export tax back in place.  There are concerns about food inflation in Russia as
the extreme weakness in the Ruble makes food expensive.  But the issue is that
increasing the export tax would reduce exports and would reduce cash inflow
into the country (that needs cash).  Currently, the consensus is that they will
not implement the export tax, but there is more talk about this week than there
was last week.
