USA | Truss plates are galvanized as far as I know. Metal on the top of the concrete walls that secure posts are mild steel painted with rust arrester primer..
Far from any expert on what is best or not when it comes to building fert storage. But from what have seen with 40 plus year old fert buildings and the materials that was used to build them back. That are still being used today, am pretty confident that what I built won't be rusted into a scrap heap in 40 years. | |
