I see the 'conventional' methods as a far more noble venture for society compared to serving a few wealthy enough to choose something based solely on image. That said, it's a market and give them what they want until they figure it out.


You don't mention organic by name, but it is the only label in the marketplace that has a legal definition and is highly criticized. You are incorrect if you think only wealthy people buy organic as a status symbol.

Frankly the folks wanting to grow a beef, hog or chickens in their backyard will learn a lot about farming if they don't make themselves sick.


Who is getting sick from eating backyard raised livestock? How many millions of conventional birds have been euthanized due to bird flu? I think its great that people take the initiative to raise some of their own food and educate themselves. This experience was common just a few generations ago.
