no welfare payments on this farm!!!!!!!! | its being spent on better quality food. For 13 yrs we have hedge our organic production with gasoline and energy, when the soccar mom goes to the grocery store she has a budget, cant get there without gas, when she fuels up for $20 less that leaves her $20 left over to buy the food she wants. are you a produce that is raising what that soccar mom wants to buy or has to buy to feed her family. Organic is growing boys, and its no bodys fault but our own. the organic market has almost every variable against it and still strong and will be strong till gas prices get expensive. what is expensive I dont know but low gas prices help specialty ag/food production more then anything else out there. some can flame away and say all kinds of middle cuts which i wont argue, but i can say for sure cheap gas benefits organic ag! there are corn farmers out there cheering for $2 corn, when you figure out why you will understand. |
