I guess I have faith in the engineers(smart people not general public) to overcome mechanical and technical problems. The best and brightest among us are not stupid by nature. We have went from horses and buggies to unmanned crafts exploring outer space in the matter of 100 years. Progress happens
yeah they've never had a disaster yet have they? These smart people. I don't hold your sediment for these so called smarter people.
Disaster happen. Without progress we would all be sitting around a campfire yet. When electrification first happened there was alot of naysayers. Look at the results now.
thats not the same thing. Nuclear isn't new and has had many problems since implemation. We have been somewhat lucky but it will run out its statistical fact. The risk out weighs the reward when it happens and it will again. Next time it might destroy a whole lot of lives and environment and then what? What if in a large populated area like the quad cities? Is it worth it to you?
