Swkscornfarmer, I think you know a pretty prominent local oilman who already owns a big chunk of ethanol production.

Koch Industries already owns a pretty fair chunk of ethanol production.

Valero owns a fair chunk of ethanol production.

All of those examples are oil industry companies that are just as invested in ethanol as they are oil.

I just don't see the cataclysmic devastation of the entire ethanol and ag industry if the mandates go away. What I do see is Ag improving it's position in the marketplace and starting to regain some positive perception that seems to have been lost over the last decade.
