Subject: Does ethanol meet RFS in reality?

sw ontario
Let's have an open mind , ethanol, like making whiskey from corn is a value added or additional corn customer which is always good.. Now for big,bad oil haters question , When we run out of crude, nat gas what would happen too inputs for growing corn/ethanol ? Like the guys that were able to take advantage of the Great Russian Grain Robbery it was a windfall, for the farmers catching its coat tails with rising inputs and falling grain prices it was bad. We may be seeing the same scenario with ethanol ,guys with good land base that made lots of cash it was great, young guys or guys expanding and paying more for land and rent along with inflated inputs with softer prices may not get the benefits of ethanol . Point that I am trying too make is when markets change fast and especially when gov'ts are involved through mandates or like Earl Butz saying we can never produce enough it never seems to end well. Time will tell.
