It never ceases to amaze me that, generally, "independent, republican, small-government" farmers can support a GOVERNMENT MANDATE. How is that good for our country? It's a slippery slope, and where does it stop? Look at the howl that goes up when people mention the county appraiser even driving through the yard, much less coming into the house. Well, we can't really pick and choose only the parts of gov't that help us all the time, and leave what we don't like. The sword cuts both ways:(
