What are the traders thinking? Now that is the question that matters. Canada has decreased income from oil, has the government slowed or cut spending? If not the problem with the Loonie is not solved. Traders need some kind of move to show a stronger Loonie or the value will keep falling.
Actually our new Fall of '16 gov't was elected on increasing the deficeit and now with oil in the tank he is looking at increasing the deficeit quite a bit more........Canadians had a choice of electing a Prime Minister who had a business degree who would run a balanced budget or a young man who promised to tax the rich,spend more and had a University education in Drama/acting. Knowing the intelligence of the average Canadian ,guess who they elected? |
