If the packer "aka big oil" won't kill your simmental cattle because they only want to kill their angus cattle.....what are you gonna do with them then? Start your own packing plant?


That's what a free market economy is all about. And that is what Cruz supports.

If my simmental cattle get cheap, a new packing plant starts up and sells the product cheaper, the Angus packing plant says hold on a minute, and decides if they want to sell their product they're gonna have to start killing some Simmentals. Before you know it, the price for everything is the same.

If the government hadn't created this mess with the mandates, we wouldn't be in a position to have to go through the lag time of getting rid of the mandates and back to a normal supply and demand for ethanol.
