 What concerns me is that a continuous distorts the shape of this down trend
in lower section so much as to make EW analysis void for the section
 form October 2, 2015 until the present.
I use continuous charts but disregard the last portions in favor of a regular chart.

Thats why I  would think using the Weekly continuation chart would
work better then the weekly nearby where you get all those rollover
distortions.
on the other hand - I may of misunderstood the question??
