I'm not an Obama fan but in his recent SOTU address he said it very well pointing out the mistakes of the past (Vietnam, Iraq).
Those wars where both necessary at the time. politics caused poor outcome of the first and poor perception of the later. The presidents view of the mistakes made do not line up with most peoples on this board. Be careful of how you interpret what he says. | |
