53590 | Advise from my Dad was "Keep your head up, keep things flowing,don't skimp on fertility it'll cost you twice over later." When milk was $9 there's no money to be made and it was almost milking the cow to lose money twice a day! Lots of new equipment,buildings and land purchases that maybe shouldn't have been done but time will tell. I personally am glad I stayed home, kind of kicked myself for not getting in the running on some land but now not so much. My uncle says that we will soon be talking of the 80's and 20's (2020!) He thinks that things will hang in there a bit for the next 2-3 years then the hurt is really going to come as interest will creep up. When you think of the millions some have piled up .25% interest makes a difference! | |
