Scranton
Newer machines can go down as well. I have mostly older equipment(big tractor is a 2000, have always planted with 4640s...they are 35 years old), but I have a multiple backup tractors. I even have a back up planter as I bought a new one last year but kept my White 6100....I plan on planting beans with it while Kinze is planting corn.

A couple reasons I don't have a shiny new line(besides the fact that it goes against my nature to have a highly depreciable line so prevalent in my balance sheet)...Our weather was crap....we had some of the worst drought areas in 12, and we were record wet in 10, 13 and 14 to a certain extent.(I've had four 5+ inch individual rains in the past three years)...so we weren't growing record crops at record prices.

Second: I bought land and pattern tile.

Third: Iron was skyrocketing...I plan on updating slowly in maybe the next couple years as opportunities present themselves.
