Mid-Michigan | For me making money farming has always been a challenge. The last few years have really helped me reduce debt. I just paid off my last price of financed machinery. Lower fuel prices have helped. I've never bought high priced corn seed and have tried to keep my fertility up so that my yields are as good as mother nature gives me. I'm curious to see how the door knockers make out with the high priced rent they promised fare. Curious to see how guys who bought $10,000/acre ground with borrowed money do it. It's going to be an interesting few years. | |
