Subject: RE: world stocks figures

Tara Farms - 1/17/2016 12:15

world ending stocks

Wheat - 2013/14 194 mmt , 14/15 212 mmt, 15/16 232mmt

Course grains - 13/14 210 mmt , 14/15 243 mmt , 15/16 244mmt

oilseeds -- 13/14 78 mmt, 14/15 91mmt , 15/16 91 mmt

El'Nino added 700-800 mb not sure I would buy into that statement with all of the damage that was in the eastern Corn belt

going forward anything can and will happen if prices offered today are not above your break-even's there is still time and most likely a weather market to come but with what we know today STFR once above COP

World production is not going to be restrained at these prices with the USD at these levels.

Those soy/corn numbers are not going to happen. I will follow up in another post about the WX vs. yield but the prime benefit was overall yield increase with El'Nino in the US. Nat. avg of 168 on said acres is a blessing. Had we had any WX issues the ending stocks number would be closer to 1 billion or near 2012 numbers. Or if we would have had 2013 yield of 158 which we ate crow over about how good that was.
