Ontario's middle east | I suspect you are correct that if you hold on there will be basis improvement out towards summer. Basis will follow the spreads. The question is, can you hold on for cash flow? I don't expect an answer. Moving some on basis to generate some cash then leaving a market order to capture a seasonal pop seems like a prudent move. I cant remember what the advantage contract does but I generally have a dim view of the fancy stuff. It seems to be there is little advantage gained on anything but a minimum price contract. The fancy contracts seem to be built on the foundation that marketing is hard and hard is interchangeable with complicated. It does not have to be complicated. Some of the best marketers I know keep things surprisingly simple. | |
