| I know very little when it comes to grain marketing or the economics of grain movement, but who sets the basis and why can't it start at zero and go up to move grain where it is needed? I understand that the grain buyers call the shots and it is what it is, but couldn't that be considered collusion? Do the grain buyers get to keep the basis difference or does it go somewhere else? Just thinking I'm tired of paying the shipping. Thanks again and sorry for the dumb question. | |
