Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | I like that line from the Dallas Fed: " Don't force bankrupties!" It suggests just how close to the edge these companies and banks run and the very active role the Fed apparently has in protecting their business.
What's interesting from the prospective of a farmer is how carefully I have to be to alway be far enough away from the edge, how quick they would sell me out, yet for the "big guys" the Fed is always right there behind them. If my debt to asset ratio is more than a few percent I'm considered "overextended" "reckless" but they can operate at 100% debt to assets and think nothing of it. Bernie Sanders is right. They think their too big to fail and their buddies in the government are right along beside them.
