Ogema, MN | Have ours in right now with 2000 sep hours. Pitman arm bearings, carriage bolts in rotor cage, check fan sheaves if worn, loosen belts and check for idlers that seem dry, if using auto steer a lot check tie rod ends, jack up and measure from tires to frame and see if it moves when you let it down, linkage on the turbo actuator, also check gearboxes and drives while belts are loose to see if any are rough our chopper jack shaft had a rough bearing in don't think it's common but worth checking, also check for play in loading auger gear box. Had a dealer mechanic out that is very meticulous and he found lots of surf we wouldn't have necessarily looked at. Also check unload augers to see if they are getting sharp. | |
