Subject: RE: On Farm Dry Fert. Storage ?s

Kingston,Mi
https://www.ag.ndsu.edu/aben-plans/6382.pdf is a plan for a salt/sand storage shed from New York. It has 3 bins that hold 190 tons each, has a modified mono slope roof with a front clearance to the short front roof of 20 ft. 8 inches. I used plans like this as a jumping op point for dry fertilizer storage plans when I was a Civil Engineering Tech. with N.R.C.S. The N.D.S.U. engineering site, https://www.ag.ndsu.edu/aben-plans has a menu that will allow you to view this plan plus others including Midwest Plans at Iowa State (this will link you to the Midwest Plan site at Iowa, where you will have to select further to get to the plan) as always these are concept plans that would need to be modified to work in various snow and wind load conditions.
