Subject: RE: Common ragweed SB

Bourbon,Indiana

I have had good luck with Scepter. I generally use a half-rate (1.5 oz) with a Half rate of Prowl H2O (1.5 pint) with my burndown/ preemerge and have had no issues with carry over, and my bean fields are very clean (30" rows) at post spraying.

Scepter works well with large seeded broadleaves. See attached pdfs.

I hesitate using first rate "here" as that is what I would call a "rescue" herbicide......to be used in the event of any weeds escapes post-emerge, like marestail for example.

Scepter was dropped by the parent company last year, but the rights were bought out by a generic. I am hoping they get it available for this coming spring.
