Subject: RE: Common ragweed SB

Southeast WI
Whether people realize it or not common and giant rags are the next issue. Had a lot of clients here run with conventional beans for years due to premiums. We rotated chemistries, used pre's and now have significant resistance to all ALS and Cobra/Reflex type chemistries on those two weeds. And glyphosate is starting to show performance problems. Best thing we can do is use Status with Glyphosate in corn for perfect control. And hope to keep beating them back in beans.

Your approach may work as long as you aren't on sandy soil with that mix. I look at the Lorox option every year but haven't tried it here. Those herbicides are from my childhood and I'm not that young anymore!
