Subject: RE: Corn Herbicide Program

Northeast Nebraska
Just do a search for tripleflex or surestart. The problems that come with using these products has been beat to death. Why take the risk? There are plenty of other proven products out there that carry little or no risk of crop injury.

I would say tripleflex or surestart or staunch all carry extremely high risk of stunting your corn when applied pre-emerge. It is much more likely to hurt your corn than it is to not hurt it. Oh but thats okay, it says so in the label. Oh its only cosmetic. I've got yield maps but you believers keep on believing.

I dont care if corn is 2 dollars or 8 dollars. I'm not going to use a product that might (probably will) impact my yields negatively.

Main problems we saw early were swollen mesocotyls. Then stand reductions. Then yellow corn. Then short corn. And finally 30 bpa less than nearby field treated with dual/atrazine premix.
