North Central Illinois | Everything is soft. It would be even softer if companies weren't sitting on higher price inventories. We could see some of what we saw in 2008 with companies having to write down inventories for a loss. It won't be nearly as bad or on the same scale as 2008 but it will be a pretty widespread thing if fertilizer prices stay soft. My dry is on and was likely too expensive. Last I heard NH3 was under $500 and 32% UAN was well under $300. Not excited about locking in N at this point. | |
