The Ag side will merge, and the news this morning, is that they will keep the Pioneer
Seed side, and sell off Mycogen. The 2 with largest market share.
There will be lots of layoffs with this merger.
Never saw anything on selling anything off and Mycogen is not Dows only seed company by far they have multiple companies within the seed industry. This is a 50/50 merger that's called DowDupont. A merger not an acquisition huge difference.
I would encourage anyone to go to Dow.com and listen to the 56 minute press conference with the Dow and Dupont ceo's giving company objectives and answering questions from major institutions.
