North west MN | Wow I wish we could get by that cheap on fertilizer we have to put on about 2.7units to 3units of n per bushel along with 60 units of phosphate and a little potash our fertilizer cost alone is close to your 129$ total cost then we need to fungicide at least twice to end up with 80 to 100 bushel wheat and if we don't we get docked big time at the elevator if low protein from not enough fertilizer it can cost us 1$ to 2$ a bushel or more and if scabby we have more discounts. | |
