I agree completely. Banvil as a pre can definitely cause crop injury. Seen it more than once.
Banvil is also very pricey for what you get in performance. As mentioned it's residual stinks. You might as well use 2,4-D. Both Banvil and 2,4-D can cause crop injury and have little to no residual. There are much better pre herbicide programs.
