Walnut Grove MN USA | If you are going to make this a yearly trip hire a guide and keep notes on where the fish bite. I have been out there a dozen or so times and sometimes we out fish the guides and sometimes we get skunked while the guides right next to us limit out in a few hours. One time we stumbled onto a good spot on a very tough fishing day and another friend in the group opened his mouth to a guide that nite and the next day we could not fit our boat into that area. The other two guys in my boat decided to pull a dirty radio trick and got some boats to leave but by that time the good fishing was done. The mouth of th Moruea river is usually a good spot on the north side. Fishing this past summer never really took off like it usually does, just too much water and food for good fishing. | |
