On our local CBC radio today they had 2 different people from local St. Clair college wanting to promote a course too get women educated too work in and manage auto feeder plants. The lady from the college said that "women shouldn't be just home raising kids and cooking and cleaning ,they should be managing some of these plants"...fine if that is what women want but why degrade or look down on a Mother, care taker, house keeper, ect. as often the wife/mom is the glue that holds family and farms to-gether. My late neighbor told me quite a few years ago "what have we gained, husband used to work out, wife raised family and they had a home, car, food, now everybody works, hire kids raised, eat out all the time and still have no money" . For the "stay at home wives/Mothers" do you wish you had an off farm career?

That is what you get as long as liberals run the education in our countries.

That's right, keep em home, barefoot and pregnant...oops, forgot mine brings home more bacon than me so I better go back to the kitchen and do the cooking for her...

I think it's different for every family. Personally in my house, we both work and both admit we aren't built to stay home all the time. For us, our arrangement works. Every family has to figure out what is right for them.
