Do you have any specs on the stuff?
What I'm finding looks to be more mg then ca...

Calcium is calcium weather it's from high ca lime, dolomitic lime (ca and mg), gypsum ( calcium and sulfur) , rock phosphate (p, ca and several trace minerals) or even chicken litter has ca in it.

Making the decision on which source you need depends on your soil test, availability of choices and cost.
