Casey IL. ( I -70 ) then south on rt.49
Why earlage instead of silage. I no more grain than stalk, but do you use it to finish verses silage. Why earlage instead of shelled corn.
How do you ( where do ) store it.
I know a lot of it is done on bigger operation just curious.
Always looking for a small feeder to improve on my ways of feeding.
Haven't bought any calves now for over a year now;. But thinking of watching the sale as soon as harvest is over.
I'll bet life is a easier and more fun not doing custom work. ( less headaches ).
I stop doing custom baling and harvesting about 10 yrs. ago. Sure don't miss it either.
Have fun and enjoy your operation and grand children. That is what life is about.
Stay safe
