Brazilton KS | It is possible to attach a chain to the bottom, rearmost accessible cylinder bar and pull it forward from underneath the feederhouse. This will rotate the cylinder backward. You are applying force directly to the load, so I really don't see where this "risks damaging their machine."
The breaker bar was a great idea on a 4400. Not so much on a machine which has a 66" wide cylinder which was being driven by 300 hp more-less when it stopped.
I've never had a 9600 refuse to drop the concave unless there was a reason such as a bad motor or bad connection failing to get power to the motor. | |
