I plant anywhere from 12k to 20k dry land. All depends on soil. I have seen 12k make 80-120 quite a few times. Flex ear hybrid is a must. I do almost all notill and I would not buy any seed from a dealer around "here" that was pushing more than 20k population for dry land.
