Waiting at the elevator this summer during the disaster that was wheat harvest, one guy joked(or maybe not) that he was going to put every acre in wheat. I expect a significant drop in acreage in southern Illinois for this fall. It's probably worth the risk to put some out but difficult to justify when the stuff becomes more worthless every day.
