Faunsdale, AL | A Murphy switch relay with a normally closed /break on fall contact set wired in series with the ignition switch should do the trick.
You will need a momentary contact switch in parallel with the relay contacts so you can hold it until oil pressure builds up. Some relays have the manual starting bypass button built into the relay while others do not.
If you use a switch gauge, most of them have a pushbutton that can be used to hold the needle off the low pressure contact until pressure builds up and trips it. Or if you want to use the existing low oil pressure switch to operate the Murphy relay, you may need to provide a separate bypass switch for starting.
