1. I can't tell you who has the best. I only have experience with Big Cob Hybrids.

2. Pre-emerge has been Thundermaster for me. It's worked well getting me to post.

3. I've been putting down 34oz of Liberty and 6oz of Volunteer with 15 gallons of water. It kills everything around at that rate.

4. I spray a couple of weeks before the beans canopy and call it good. I've never had any weeds poke through after that.

5. I don't know. I'd have to check the label...


Bottom lineā€¦ I planted Liberty beans the last three years and they've all been very clean. This year I had a field that was in RR beans, and it is infested with weeds. Until marestail and pigweed are Liberty resistant, I'm going to remain 100% LL beans.
