EC KS | Thanks all for the replies. GCAT- 1151 is all I planted this year. Tried some short season pioneer last year 9690 and 9697. The 1151 averaged close to 40 bushel better as well. Really like the 1151. Pushed the population up a little this year(27-28k) compared to last year (24-25k) so I hope it pays off. Have you ever went any lower than 25k with 1151? That was my only concern with 1151 being a semi determinate ear and going to lower pop. such as 21-24k. | |
