Subject: Good flex ear corn hybrid in EC KS

EC KS
Looking to try a flex ear hybrid at lower a population (18k-24k). This field has not been in corn that I can ever remember (past 6 yrs). New to me farm. Tough ground, low fertility. Will be conventional tilled (just bought a JD 7000 and not setup to no-till yet and will be doing terrace work this fall). Really need to get a rotation on this field besides continuous soybeans with occasional wheat. Corn plan for this farm is spring applied anhydrous. P and K applied 2x2 dry at planting about 70 lbs actual of each plus sulfur and zinc. Currently plant semi determine ear hybrid at around 24k-28k on some other ground and am pretty happy with that but just would like to hear some other experiences. Yield goal is 150. Appreciate any responses.
