Central Illinois
We've never used fungicide before. I trust our seed dealer and he has never mentioned it either. He is a neighbor that also farms and he came over this year and told us he thought we should spray anything that we thought still had full yield potential on 90% of the field. That is what he was doing and his agronomist doesn't usually push the fungicide. No one likes to spend money on a crop if they don't need to but he was pretty certain we would get our $28/acre back and if it hit bad it could add 30-35 bpa. There have been planes flying non stop in central Illinois for a good 2 weeks.
