| chuckling to myself on this post....This is what both my grandpas and dad always said too, 6 weeks till frost.
But actually I was discussing this the other day with crop consultants and friends, and Ii posed this question, what if we do get an early frost ?
We are missing a ton of heat units this year, and around here everything is so messed up from being wet and cool.
I jokingly made a comment I was going to wait for a freeze to get my wheat out, and the looks on those guys faces were priceless, LOL. but I cautioned what if this Fall turns out the same as this Summer, especially the way the El Nino patterns are, I can see it happening...
