Buck... continuous corn can just be an illusion that you can't see the waterhemp. I was out in 8foot corn last aug (with a hail adjustor) and could find little water hemp that had germinated down under the canopy. I've gone back to some late season 24d applications (after brown silk) because it is the only idea I can come up with. Not sure if a plane spraying 2gpa can penetrate to the ground, tho.
How much 24d are you using? My experience is that they need to use 5 pints of amine in 5 gallons of water to be effective.
