Spot on!! Our drought starts immediately after the last drop falls. I have been chased out of every field that I've been working in this year by rain. And the rain has come from the north, south, east, west, and sometimes more than one direction in the same storm.
My cereal rye cover crop acres didn't erode a bit, but the rye has since died making it a mushy swamp. I'm still trying to plant it.
